Dumlupınar University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Marketing and Marketing Research Association (PPAD) are pleased to invite you to participate in the 21st Marketing Congress to be held in Kütahya, Turkey on October 6-8, 2016.

The rise of Internet and mobile devices and the rapid changes in communication and information technologies initiate new practices in economics and business. We experience one of the most fundamental shifts in the area of marketing as a result of these new practices. In terms of establishing, developing and maintaining long-term relations with customers, marketing leads the way in introducing web based and mobile applications that would provide competitive advantage for adapting businesses to the digital age. Marketing practices expand to content marketing and social marketing especially through mobile and social media applications, and digital signature, interactive TV, e-mail marketing and web channel applications. In addition to these, web based applications with expanding internet reach and use extends customization, one-to-one networks, connectedness and content creation.

Marketing Congresses that aim to create a platform for contributing the progress of marketing science, tracking current business trends and practices, information sharing, gathering scholars and professionals has always gained attention and support from business organizations as well. In this respect, we welcome you to present your studies across all marketing topics in the 21st Marketing Congress with the main theme “Marketing in the Digital Age”.

In addition, the 2nd Marketing Congress Doctoral Colloquium , which would be held as part of the 21st Marketing Congress, aims to enable doctoral students to share and discuss on their dissertational research with other doctoral students and marketing scholars, and get feedback.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Marketing and Marketing Research Association (PPAD) Executive Committee has agreed at the “6th PAYS Symposium” on May 19-21, 2016 that the Marketing Congress, which has been organized as a national congress for over 20 years, would deemed to have an international character as of this year.

As a consequence of this agreement, participants could submit extended abstract papers or full research papers in Turkish or in English to the 21st Marketing Congress. The approved papers would be presented in the submission language.

Upon these changes and increasing requests, the deadline for submitting full-papers and extended abstracts has been extended to July 16, 2016.
